Need to quickly find all formulas in a sheet? Excel has a built-in way to select them all at once so you can review or highlight them instantly. |
Steps
Press Ctrl + G
Click Special
Select Formulas
Click OK
Pro Tip
After selecting the formula cells, apply a fill color to instantly see where all calculations are happening in your worksheet.
When to Use This
Use this when reviewing a workbook, checking for hardcoded values, or debugging issues quickly. It makes it easy to separate formulas from static data.
Notes
Going to Formulas > Show Formulas will give you a similar affect, but with full formula display, auto-fitting columns, and without selecting the cells that have the formulas.
