Good day,
This week, we take raw data and turn it into a pivot table, report, chart, and PDF export, all without having to use Excel or traditional Pivot Table features.
We'll use new Excel formulas and a touch of AI to end up with quite an impressive result.

[Tiny Tip] Connect Charts To PivotTables
PivotTables are great for summarizing data, but charts make it much easier to spot trends and share insights.
You can actually connect a chart to a PivotTable so that it reflects what you need to analyze.
How to Create a PivotChart
Click anywhere inside your existing PivotTable.
Go to PivotTable Analyze or Analyze on the Ribbon.
Click PivotChart.
Select a chart type, such as a Column, Bar, or Line chart.
Click OK.
Excel will create a PivotChart that is directly linked to the PivotTable.
If you filter the PivotTable, refresh the source data, or add and remove fields, the chart updates automatically to reflect the changes.
Bonus Tip
Add a Slicer to the PivotTable by going to PivotTable Analyze > Insert Slicer.
This gives you a simple interactive dashboard where users can click buttons to instantly filter both the PivotTable and the chart.
Why This Is Useful
Turn PivotTable summaries into visual reports.
Avoid manually updating chart ranges.
Make reports easier to understand at a glance.
