Good day,

This week, let's make Tables in Excel better by adding a clickable "DELETE" button/link to every row, that actually works!

[Tiny Tip] The Best Shortcut in Excel?

Keep your cells from changing! (new and old version)

New Version

Ctrl + Shift + V

This instantly pastes only the visible values from copied cells and removes formulas, formatting, and references.

How It Works

  1. Copy a cell or range with Ctrl + C

  2. Select the destination cells

  3. Press Ctrl + Shift + V

Useful Examples

  • Freeze calculated results so they never change again.

  • Remove formulas before sending a workbook to someone else.

  • Paste clean values from Tables/PivotTables, etc. without formatting.

  • Copy data from another workbook without bringing links with it.

Notes

  • The classic methods still work: Ctrl + Alt + V, then V, then Enter. OR Alt + E + S + V + Enter.
